Nigel Foo is the Head of Asian Fixed Income at First Sentier Investors.
In his role, Nigel is responsible for formulating investment strategies across both Global and Asian fixed income. He is also the lead portfolio manager for flagship strategies in Asian Quality Bond and Asian Strategic Bond.
Prior to joining First Sentier Investors in 2010, Nigel spent six years with State Street Global Advisors as a fixed income portfolio manager where he managed one of the largest Asian local currency bond funds in the region, amongst other global fixed income mandates. Since the start of his career, Nigel has developed strong research and risk management skills during his stints with several major investment banks including JP Morgan and Credit Suisse.
Nigel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, with a Major in Finance from the National University of Singapore. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder.
Fiona Kwok is a Portfolio Manager for the Asian Fixed Income team at First Sentier Investors.
Fiona joined First Sentier Investors in July 2021 and is responsible for formulating investment strategies and analysing Asian portfolios, with a focus on Asian Credit and Hong Kong Dollar bonds.
Fiona previously spent five years in Goldman Sachs as a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager in its Asset Management business, specialising in global investment grade bond portfolio investment. Before that, she served as Credit Analyst at Moody’s Investors Services for four years, covering primarily credit ratings of high yield and investment grade issuers in Greater China. Fiona began her career as Auditor in Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu in Hong Kong.
Fiona holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Major in Finance) from the University of Hong Kong. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Adeline is a Portfolio Manager based in our Singapore office for the Asian Fixed Income team at First Sentier Investors.
Adeline joined First Sentier Investors in December 2024 and is responsible for formulating investment strategies and analysing Fixed Income portfolios, with focus on Asia High Yield and Emerging Market Credits.
With over 13 years of experience, Adeline has held roles as a Credit Analyst, Portfolio Manager, and Fixed Income Strategist at prominent firms, including Lombard Odier, Credit Suisse, Value Partners, and UOB Asset Management. She spent 7 years at Value Partners Limited across their Singapore and Hong Kong offices, managing Asia and Emerging Market Bond Funds of both absolute return and relative return investment strategies. Adeline began her career as a Management Associate at UOB Bank, completing a two-year rotational program before joining the Asia Fixed Income Team in 2011 as a Credit Analyst covering bond issuers in SGD and co-managing Asia Investment Grade institutional bond portfolios.
Adeline holds a Bachelor of Accountancy with First Class Honors from Nanyang Technological University and is a CFA charter holder and Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Carol Chang is a credit analyst for the Asian Fixed Income team at First Sentier Investors. In her role, Carol is responsible for credit research of Asian credits including both investment grade and high yield, with a focus on China.
Prior to joining First Sentier Investors in October 2022, Carol worked at GF Securities as a portfolio manager investing in China offshore credits. Before that, she spent 3 years in credit research at Barclays, with a focus on China investment grade bonds. Carol holds a Master of Science (major in Financial Engineering) from National University of Singapore, and a Bachelor of Management (major in Accounting and Finance) from Nankai University in China. Carol is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), CFA Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) and a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) Charterholder.
Jeffrey is a Credit Analyst for the Asian Fixed Income team at First Sentier Investors. He is responsible for credit research of Asian credits across both investment grade and high yield issuers, with a focus on Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Macau.
Prior to joining First Sentier Investors in September 2026, Jeffrey worked as a Senior Credit Associate at Moody's Ratings, where he conducted credit research and rating assessments across investment grade and high yield corporate issuers in Greater China, Australia, and Southeast Asia.
Jeffrey holds a Bachelor of Commerce (major in Accounting and Finance) and a Master of Finance. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and a Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
Shereen Nathania Surya, based in our Singapore office, is a Graduate Investment Analyst for the Asian Fixed Income team at First Sentier Investors.
Shereen joined First Sentier Investors in June 2025. Originally from Jakarta, Indonesia, Shereen moved to Singapore to pursue her university studies. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Singapore Management University with a Bachelor of Business Management, majoring in Finance.
