First Sentier Investors, a leading global investment manager, and its shareholder Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation (the Trust Bank), a subsidiary of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Inc. (MUFG), today jointly launched the First Sentier MUFG Sustainable Investment Institute (the institute).

THE BOARD OF FIRST SENTIER INVESTORS TODAY ANNOUNCED THE APPOINTMENT OF SUSIE RIPPINGALL AS A NON-EXECUTIVEECTOR.
Following its transition in ownership last year, First Sentier Investors (currently known as First State Investments outside of Australia) operates as a standalone investment manager governed by a Board of Directors. Based in Hong Kong, Ms Rippingall will join two recently appointed Non-Executive Directors, Michelle Tredenick and Richard Wastcoat, bringing the total number of independent directors to three.
