Stewart Investors manage investment portfolios on behalf of our clients over the long term and have held shares in some companies for over 20 years. They launched their first investment strategy in 1988.
On 20 July 1969, Neil Armstrong put his left foot on the rocky Moon. It was the first human footprint on the Moon.
Unlike Earth, the Moon has no erosion from wind or water because it has no atmosphere. Exposure to solar wind shapes the surface, but the process is extremely slow, such that Armstrong’s footprint is likely to last a million years – or more.
Perhaps the only threat to these iconic footprints is a meteorite with no sense of history!
