Mark Lazberger has announced today that he is leaving Colonial First State Global Asset Management (CFSGAM) (also known internationally as First State Investments), having spent 10 years at the helm as Chief Executive Officer.
CFSGAM is a leading global multi-specialist investment manager with responsibility for AUD213bn of client assets. Under Mr Lazberger’s leadership, the firm has developed a strong global presence with approximately 80% of its global revenues now being derived from its international client relationships.
Mark Steinberg, currently the Chief Operating Officer for CFSGAM, will be the Acting CEO whilst a search is undertaken to identify a permanent CEO.
